Last session of 2011

At least that's how it stands right now. We don't have the room this Thursday and the next two follow so closely to the holidays that, based on the last six years, we won't meet since it is hard to get enough people together to make it worth the model's time. If something changes I'll let you know. Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to everyone.

December 8th is a go

This will probably be the only time we meet this month. Unless we have the room taken from us at the last moment we are set to draw. We hope to see as many of you as possible. Thank you for your patience these last couple of months.

No drawing tonight

Check back tomorrow or this weekend to see if we have any sessions for December. We have lost the 15th and with the 22nd & 29th so close to the holidays we have to decide if we can even muster enough artists to make the 8th worthwhile. Sorry guys, it's out of my hands. A couple of us are working on an alternative. Keep your fingers crossed.

Goodbye Sheila Rieman

The Black Hand Group extends their deepest sympathies to the family of Sheila Rieman for their loss. Sheila was a truly gifted artist and just a genuinely fine lady. The art world and all of her friends will miss her.

No drawing the first of December

We have lost the First of December and, as you may have surmised, this Sunday as well. This has caused quite a bit of problems for our groups cohesive mindset. If we can't count on a location we need to find another that is more receptive to us as a group and as an asset to the art community. I welcome ideas from anyone and am willing to think of ways we can make ourselves more valuable to the local art scene.

November 13th Sunday session

We will be meeting Sunday the 13th at 1 pm. Hope to see everyone there.

Update

We apparently are not meeting the entire month of November (at least on Thursday nights). If I can schedule one or more Sunday sessions I will post here. Keep the faith, we are looking into options.

No Drawing Tonight

We'll meet next week (unless I hear otherwise) and then be off for three weeks. I will try to get some Sunday's in place.

Back to work...

at least we were back to work. No drawing next week. But we'll be back at it the following week. In the meantime, here are some of the drawings of Sara.

Back to work tonight, guys

We will be meeting tonight. We will be losing October 27, November 10, 17 & 24 (Thanksgiving), though. If anyone wants to attend some Sunday sessions, please let me know & I'll schedule something. So to recap, we meet tonight, not next week, we meet the following week (November 3) and then we miss the next three weeks. That's as much as I know and I will post any changes as soon as they come to my attention.

A change to the schedule

The studio will be in use on October 13th rather than the 20th. That means we won't be meeting next week but will resume on the following week. I apologize for the inconvenience. Hope to be seeing you in two weeks.

Back to work

We will be meeting at the usual time this week.
