Last Night at The Casbah

Okay, not the Casbah but another evening with Samm and the crew of The Black Hand Group.  Samm was absolutely at her best with the gestures and we got some really nice long poses for the rest of the night.

Samm +6

A great session to take us into our first scheduled break of the summer.  Samm always comes through for us with some elegant and beautiful poses.  Last night was no different.  Thanks to Candace and Jeff for sharing.

Dylan + 7

A decent July crowd came to draw and benefit from the modeling of Dylan.  Thanks to to Candace, Ron and Jeff for sharing some of their work this week.  We will meet next week and then do an off one week /on one week schedule for the rest of the month.  I'll post the schedule soon.  Be sure to drop in on the 9th as it will be the last chance until the 23rd to draw from the live model.

An evening with Samm

Samm returned to the platform and we had a productive night with a great model to draw from.  A couple of new artists dropped in.  We hope they drop in again.  Thanks, Jeff, for sharing.

Small group for Dylan

Charcoal Study by Jeff Schaezle

Only four artists benefited from Dylan's long road trip into Billings.  For those of you who want to avail yourselves of her efforts on our behalf, she will be back July 2 and then not again until August.  Dylan is what might be called a limited time offer.  We are grateful for her willingness to make the round trip from Wyoming.  Really a great night for The Black Hand Group.

Dylan is back in town

Despite a hang up at the train crossing that delayed Dylan, we had a very nice evening of sketching.  I think the wait was worth it.
