I was contacted last week with a proposition for artists within our group (and all other artists, too). Take a minute or two and see if this interests any of you.

Thank you for taking my call today and for your willingness to help me bring Figure Drawing back into our Adult Educational rotation at the YAM.
We have designated the Education Studio at the Museum for Adult use on Saturday, October 25th, 2025. Ideally I would like to incorporate Carbon into the theme of this class. Easy! 10am-4pm is typically our class length but this is VERY flexible. I am in research mode now for this.
As for the Tippet Rise Art Center happening, we have Saturday, May 2nd 2026 set aside from 10am-4pm. As mentioned, we plan a class on site at the Art Center prior to the public opening. We have Yoga instructors interested in teaching sessions on campus that day as well. Theme and focus can be developed as a group. Lunch can be provided or packed in by individuals…whatever we choose. We would need 2 models if we decide on a full day. Again, schedule and thoughts for this happening are in the beginning stages. I like to work together with everyone involved to build a plan.
Additionally, I also oversee the hiring of artists to accompany me into The Montana Women’s Prison (John has taught there with me as well) to teach art. I am looking for someone for my October 21st and 23rd class. I would love to offer the inmate artists the same class as we offer publicly on the 25th. That pays $300 for the 2 9am-11am morning sessions. I have drawing boards and can arrange for drawing horses. This feeds the teaching artist’s soul I can promise that!
